As a direct result of your work with us, the leadership section of our morale survey (which is where we wanted to improve) went from 1.85 (out of 5) to 3.29 in one month, a 78% improvement. In terms of organization, the place is immaculate. Our 5S scores have improved by 171%. I’m ecstatic to see that.
The superintendent’s biggest positive is that now he has tools to measure and improve the warehouse and to be able to know whether we’re being successful or not. We needed that.
I was very pleased with how you and Chris Brown analyzed our situation and prepared for the event. You hit the problem right on the head on the first swing. Before the event I was thinking we might get part way to our goals – that we’d have a lot of issues left unresolved because it was such a large thing – but you and Chris focused our effort and got it all done in one week.
What I liked most about the event was that most of the people on the team were hourly employees, and you made them feel comfortable opening up in front of their superintendent. That was the key.
You guys created a mindset change in the warehouse, just as you did during the previous three events in the manufacturing plants. Before the event, the employees felt negative, isolated, and directionless. Now they feel that they have important goals to attain, they work together, their input is listened to, and they have more responsibility. You brought out their “can do” attitude.
I will certainly use Everest Consulting Group next time we have a need. I’ve already recommended you to another company that is struggling with the same problems we had.
