Thank you for planning and leading our first kaizen event. This was our first exposure, and those who were involved enjoyed it. Chris Brown did a good job preparing for and leading the event. He is a clear thinker and worked well with our managers and unionized workforce.

The most advantageous result of the event was the improved flow of dies between the shop floor and the tooling and repair areas. Now the dies are moving from one operation to the next without sitting around, which is helping us to increase the capacity of our presses. Our organization on the shop floor and the communication between departments is also much improved.

We decided to work with you because of your enthusiasm and your focus on getting things done. I continue to be impressed with how you are able to express the complex principles of lean manufacturing in user-friendly layman’s terms.

I liked your candor and honesty in telling us that it would take some time to make real change, and your explanation of the steps it would take to get there. You didn’t try to tell me what I wanted to hear to try to get business from us. That is something I respect and appreciate.

We appreciate your help. For future kaizen events we will definitely plan on asking you to work with us again.
