The Professional Coach Certification Program ( PCCP ) has been instrumental in transitioning the Teva Sellersville plant from a centralized command and control management model to empowered teams. We see this transition as one of the key initiatives in our continued success as market leader and we’re very glad we selected Everest Consulting Group for this task. We knew we needed a program that was capable of becoming part of our culture and getting buy in from the staff on the plant floor. The focus on the supervisor as leader and coach as well as measuring tangible results has been the difference. Currently we’re receiving four to five times the number of improvement ideas from our teams than the program guidelines even require. With this type of response from the supervisors and their team members we believe we’ve created a solid foundation for the future.
I should also recognize the contributions of John Beane, the ECG consultant, in helping us on this journey. He has done a great job of keeping us on the path and focusing us on the objectives at hand. He possesses the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company and that has helped in gaining plant wide acceptance for the PCCP. Management and team members both like having him around as a trusted resource for his insights on a variety of topics.
There have been a lot of positive changes at our Sellersville plant over the last eight months and we appreciate Everest Consulting Group’s leadership in helping us achieve these results.
